HOW IT WORKS
Charity Direct is the paid solicitor for local and national charities and churches. Your donation may be directed to the charity of your choice. Charity Direct will provide the Certificate of Donation "proof of donation" to the Donor. We will pick up the vehicle free of charge, and sell the vehicle. 100% of the net proceeds are distributed to the Non-Profit Organization, designated by the vehicle donor. All donated items are 100% tax deductible. A receipt is required if your claim exceeds $500 dollars. The claim is limited to the GROSS PROCEEDS RESULTING from the sale of the vehicle. Vehicles are accepted, running or non-running (with some exceptions). Plus, pick up is FREE.PROCESS
· Fill out the Vehicle Donation Form and donate your Car, Boat, Truck, Motor Home, Motorcycle etc.. to the charity of your choice.· A Charity Direct employee will confirm the donation via email and/or phone call.
· A Charity Direct employee will inform you on how to sign your title and where to send it.
· Once we receive your signed title you will be contacted by the tow facility to arrange pick up of your vehicle.
· Charity Direct will then send you a donation receipt listing charity you donated your vehicle to.
· Upon the sale of the vehicle, the donor will receive notification of the sale and the GROSS PROCEEDS.
· After the sale, a check is sent directly to the designated charity of your choice. Each check will include the name and address of the donor.
